Absolutely! Our team of medical professionals are overseen by a Medical Director, and licensed by the state health department. We use the highest quality supplies from a US based supplier and all of our staff are fully trained and licensed and/or certified respectively.
You may have slight bruising depending on your skin type, but tracks come from drugs burning the vein and skin. We do not administer drugs, just vitamins and nutrients.
Your body can only absorb a certain amount of vitamins orally, IV vitamins provide your body with vitamins and nutrients directly into the bloodstream for maximum efficiency and absorption.
We are currently serving the Northern Virginia are. We will be expanding to Maryland and Washington, DC in the coming months. If you want to book an appointment outside of these areas, we charge a small travel fee for areas outside of our service area, unless booking parties of 4 or more
Yes, it’s 100% safe. Our formulas are administered by highly trained medical professionals. We were very specific in our recruiting, seeking only medical professionals with extensive experience in IV therapy. Our practitioners have experience placing IV’s in the most challenging conditions and on the most challenging patients so while we hope all of our clients are easy sticks, we are prepared if they are not. All medical personnel are licensed and certified by a relevant certifying board in the state. To give you peace of mind, people have been using IVs for almost 200 years now, so vitamin-powered IV therapy has been practiced safely for decades. It’s just now that the service is becoming trendy. Furthermore, our RNs can answer any specific questions you have about the service before or during your treatment.
A licensed medical professional will insert a small tube into your vein. The tube is attached to a bag containing the saline or lactated ringers, as well as any other additives included in your package. Your formula will be pushed directly to your bloodstream for total bioavailability. This means you reap the full benefits of every vitamin and/or medicine present in your IV bag. IVs also replace lost fluids and electrolytes quickly and efficiently. Intravenous delivery is without a doubt the fastest way to rehydrate and enjoy the effects of the nutrients included in our formulas.
Receiving an IV can be slightly different for each individual. However, it usually takes between 30 and 45 minutes for someone to finish their treatment. All in all, you should plan on taking an hour out of your day for IV hydration therapy. Fortunately, it’s a pretty stress-free procedure. You’ll remain seated and relatively still, where you can carry on a conversation, watch TV, scroll through your phone, et cetera.
We are currently serving the Northern Virginia area. Our services are fully mobilized, so we can visit your home, office, hotel and more.
We’re aware that paying a few hundred dollars for relief can initially seem steep. But our equipment and ingredients are high-quality and medical grade. Add in our staff of medical professionals, and you’re getting an experience that can easily cost triple the price (and up!) if treated in a hospital. Our regulars regard it as a steal, and after you experience the benefits, we’re confident that you will, too.
We understand that some people get nervous around needles, and some people have a lower tolerance for pain. Please remember that our medical professionals are prepared to address any concerns you have. It’s also helpful to remember that they are experienced professionals who will make insertion as fast and painless as possible. Most people report feeling nothing more than a pinch. Afterward, you may have a slight bruise at the insertion site.
You’re free to discuss the safety and efficacy of IV hydration therapy treatments with your doctor. Bare in mind that this treatment is completely elective and going through with it is entirely up to you. There is a physician on-call that will review your medical information and approve treatment, as well as make recommendations based on their assessment. Just as with any doctor, it’s vital that you provide accurate and complete information.
We do not accept private insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid at this time. And yet, our services are still less expensive than many co-pays!
Absolutely. A lot of our clients use IV therapy treatments as part of their regular wellness routine, or to prepare for a big event. Some of our packages are also ideal for boosting your immune system during cold and flu season. Athletes and other people who train heavily use our formulas to improve performance and recovery. Others just like looking and feeling hydrated and well-rested prior to an important event. Please be advised that while hydration therapy may reduce your chances of getting a hangover, the only guarantee is that you’ll be prepared for what the night holds.
Most individuals are all clear for treatment, but there are a few exceptions: Those with allergies which might exclude them. We do not treat minors, unless 16 or older with parental permission and supervision. People over the age of 65 are currently not eligible for IV therapy with us. We do not treat people who are pregnant but some of our drips are fine for those who are breastfeeding. Certain medical conditions may exclude some. A doctor will review the information supplied by each and every client, so be sure to clearly state any medical conditions, allergies, or illnesses you have prior to your appointment. Our doctor may advise against certain packages based on the information you provide.
Yes, we’d love an invite! Please contact our team to learn more about discounted group rates. It’s the perfect “morning after” treat for your gathering – especially bachelor/bachelorette parties.
People come to us for a variety of reasons, and our formulas reflect that. Our formulas begin with a base of normal saline to provide fluid and electrolytes. From there, our packages can contain a wide range of vitamins, painkillers, anti-nausea medication, anti-inflammatory, and anti-heartburn meds. All formulas are developed and approved by a physician. If you want to customize your blend further, you can add an extra vitamin boost.
One big advantage of getting IV therapy is that it’s easily tailored to your needs. Some people only intermittently experience things like hangovers, jetlag, or migraines. Others get IV therapy more regularly since they get better results from taking vitamins intravenously. Those seeking a drip for anti-aging, athletic performance, or improved cognitive functions will benefit from a weekly or bi-weekly service. In the end, it really depends on your biological individuality and lifestyle. Our clinical staff has no problem with helping you deduce when and how often you should receive certain treatments.
Your appointment can be made in advance, on a regular basis, or you can call us on- demand. Our goal is to have a medical professional to you within a couple of hours at most. Once you put in your request, we will contact our professionals to confirm the estimated time of arrival. We will then call you back to provide a better time-frame.
Side effects are usually rare and minor but some redness, minor discomfort, small bruising, and bleeding at the injection site may occur dissipating with time. Should an adverse reaction arise, our knowledgeable certified providers are prepared and medically trained to handle such reaction.
No. Some of our clients don’t have the ability to take a break while they are working in their office and continue to work during their IV drip session.
